Activity details and how to support
Being supportive of the cause, I will be joining the Great Ethiopian 10 KM Run in November whilst raising funds for charity purposes in Ethiopia. But, I can’t make it alone. On behalf of Orbis and her patients in Ethiopia, we invite you to join the cause for humanity.
My reason for supporting Orbis
I still vividly recall joining Orbis on blind-relief missions to Cambodia and China (with SC Bank) in 2006, 2013, and 2015, respectively. It struck a chord with me ever since.
If the relevant support and vision rehabilitation facilities were available, third-world citizens will be offered a 2nd chance at life and will be productive to society once again.
The mission of Orbis, in a nutshell, is to construct and sustain robust and sustainable eye care systems globally that offer treatment and prevention within reach and cost-friendly. I personally resonate with this mission goal, and I am proud to beat witness to this as a volunteer.
