Activity details and how to support
From the 18th of January to the 10th of February, Gellhorn House will be doing a workout challenge, where we aim to complete 50 reps of an exercise of our choice every day. We invite our friends and family to support us on our fitness journey by donating to Orbis and helping fight avoidable blindness. Help us bring the hope of sight to the blind. Here is what your donation could do: HK$300 = subsidize cataract surgery for one person HK$600 = subsidize strabismus surgery for one child HK$1,000 = subsidize eye examination for 1,000 people
My reason for supporting Orbis
Orbis International is one of Harrow International School Hong Kong’s pupil chosen charities this year. The pandemic has greatly affected all of us in ways we could never have imagined. We believe that we could all benefit from a bit of exercise which can help improve both our physical and mental health. Many of us are upset that we are back to online school as we are quite isolated, but we feel this is a great opportunity for us to stay connected. We will be getting back in shape, all the while supporting a great cause!
